Why choose woofy’s dog field?

Woofy’s dog field provides an exclusive dog walking field for your sole use, to enable you to enjoy time with your dog.  With just over 3 acres, Woofy's Dog Field offers plenty of space for your dog to run and play.  We are situated in the countryside just outside of Street and enjoy views of Glastonbury Tor.

We want Woofy’s Dog Field to provide a natural environment where your dog can explore, run and play. We have poo bag dispensers located around the field, to make it easier for you to clean up after your pooch. All poo will need to be removed and taken home by each user. Woofy’s Dog Field is only a short drive from both Street and Glastonbury, making it convenient for you to access.

There are so many reasons why you could find it beneficial to use Woofy's Dog Field including:-
-Your dog may have poor recall and you need a fenced environment to allow your dog off lead.
-Your dog may have regular seasons and need a safe space away from other dogs
-You may be puppy training and need a quiet environment free from distractions
-Your dog may be anxious or reactive around other dogs and needs a stress free environment.

--
-You may just enjoy a peaceful walk away from other dog walkers

If any of these resonate with you, then Woofy's Dog Field can provide just what you need.

How does it work

Entering the Field

  • DO NOT enter the car park until the previous person has left.

  • On arrival, unlock the gate, using the access code that was sent to you in your confirmation email.

  • When open, due to high winds, the gate must be secured to the fence using the bungee cord to ensure it does not swing back on your car.

  • Drive in to the parking area, close the gate behind you, ensuring it is shut securely.

  • You can then access the field using the pedestrian gate.

  • Your dog is now free to run and play.

  • The field is for your exclusive use for the duration of your booking.

Fencing

  • We have 6ft fencing around the entrance and parking area

  • However the perimeter of the field that your dog will be exercising in has 5ft fencing.

  • If your dog is able to jump high fences the field will not be totally secure. We DO NOT take responsibility for lost or injured dogs.

Your time in the field

  • Please be aware that Wellies may be needed in the field!! We aim to keep Woofy’s Dog field as natural an environment as possible- so there will be uneven ground, mole hills, pot holes and mud. There will be lumps and bumps, holes and divots, just as you would expect on a countryside walk. As it is a natural field, and despite our best efforts, there may be stones, brambles, nettles, thistles or other weeds that appear from time to time. Please be aware of this when walking your dog in Woofy’s Dog Field.

  • Please pick up your doggy poos! We provide poo bags which are situated around the field to enable you to clear up after your pooch.

  • ALL DOG POO MUST BE REMOVED AND TAKEN HOME WITH YOU. Failure to do so could result in you being banned from using the field in the future.

  • Please note there is no water provided in the field – if you would like to bring water and a bowl please feel free.

  • Maximum of 6 dogs using the premises per booking.

Leaving the Field

  • Please allow 5 minutes at the end of your slot to exit the field to ensure it is vacant when the next person arrives.

  • Ensure you have collected all your dog poo and take it home with you

  • Please take all your belongings with you, including dog toys, rubbish etc.

  • On leaving ensure that the pedestrian gate is shut.

  • When opening the gate to leave, please use the bungee cord to secure the gate to the fence, to ensure it does not swing back.

  • YOU MUST close the gate and make sure it is secured using the padlock when you leave. Please scramble the numbers on the padlock ready for the next user.

  • Please be careful when driving onto the main road when you leave Woofy’s Dog Field. Be aware of fast moving traffic.
